Richard Eppich was appointed President and CEO of Ebco Industries and Advanced Cyclotron Systems (ACSI) in June 2009, where he eagerly took over the place of his father & founder, Helmut Eppich. Over 25 years in leadership roles, and a keen eye for operational processes and strategic management, Richard is responsible for delivering top quality projects and component pieces to OEM’s worldwide.
Prior to Ebco Industries, Richard founded and ran a web-based workforce management software company, Entire Systems Inc.Richard attended Simon Fraser University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration, and continued onto BCIT receiving a certificate in project management. Richard furthered his education through UCBerkeley where he gained a certificate in Computer Information Systems, as well as, a certificate in Production and Inventory Management from APICS.
Umendra Mital, Executive Vice President & General Manager
Umendra has an exceptional skill set through his years of experience in senior executive and management roles. With over forty years in Federal, Provincial, and Local Governments, as well as private sector work, Umendra brings strong leadership qualities to the table.
In the past, Umendra has served as City Manager for the City of Surrey, as well as its General Manager for Engineering. His previous experience includes Deputy Minister of the Department of Natural Resources for the Province of Manitoba. He has served in numerous Engineering Management Roles as well. Umendra currently sits as a Director on multiple boards for different Canadian corporations. Umendra holds a Masters of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer.
Pearl Lee, Director of Finance and Administration
Pearl has been with Ebco Industries for over 32 years and has recently been appointed the Director of Finance and Administration. Pearl’s journey with Ebco started in the cost accounting department, then to the financial accounting department, and eventually Pearl moved on to become the Controller.
After graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting and management information systems, she attained her designation in management accounting (CMA) and a year later attained her designation in general accounting (CGA) and now also has her CPA designation.
Pearl enjoys the diversity that Ebco offers and is looking forward to many more years as a part of the Ebco team.
Ali Iqbal was appointed as Director of Business Development at Ebco Industries in April 2020. Prior to Ebco Industries, he was working with Sulzer and Siemens. Ali attended Mannheim Business School , Germany where he received his Master of Business Administration. Ali is a mechanical engineer and is PMP certified. In his 14 years career, he has gained extensive experience in sales, engineering and project management and has worked in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Paul Power, HeavyMachine Shop, Maintenance & Assembly Manager
Paul Power has been an Ebco employee since 1994, first joining our team as a Machinist and now managing our Heavy Machine Shop as well as overseeing the Assembly and Maintenance departments. Paul has a wealth of knowledge on heavy-sized projects related to mining repairs, oil & gas, as well as hydro. Paul completed his Machining Apprenticeship in Ontario and worked at P&R Engineering prior to coming to Ebco.
