1956
Helmut Eppich opened a small metal shop on 1st Avenue and Burrard Street in Vancouver, B.C. The company, co-founded by Helmut, Hugo, and their friend Stefan Burger, was called Eppich & Burger Manufacturing Co.
1959
Hugo Eppich was an electrician by trade and opened a plating shop at Eppich & Burger. The company changed its name to Ebco Manufacturing Ltd.
1969
Ebco Industries Ltd. built a new facility in Richmond and relocated from Vancouver.
1973
Helmut and Hugo received the BC Business Entrepreneurs of the Year Award.
1974
Epic Data commences production of its data collection terminals.
1988
Premier Bill Vander Zalm lit a giant menorah built by Ebco for the Eltz Charm Synagogue in Richmond. The menorah was designed by architect Arthur Erickson.
1989
Ebco Technologies Inc. was formed to accommodate a TRIUMF technology transfer to build cyclotrons for commercial use. A TR30 cyclotron for Nordion was the first to be built.
1990
Helmut and Hugo received the BC Business Entrepreneurs of the Year Award.
1995
The Ebco Group restructures allowed Helmut and Hugo to operate their own companies independently. New logos were created to identify each company within Ebco Industries Ltd.
2006
Founding company Ebco Industries Ltd. celebrates 50 years in business.
2016
Founding company Ebco Industries Ltd. celebrates its 60th anniversary.
2021
Ebco Industries Ltd. celebrates 65th anniversary.
